Why You Might Feel “Ready to Heal”… But Still Not Take the Next Step

There’s a moment many people reach on their healing journey that can feel confusing.

 You’ve done the thinking.

You’ve reflected.

You know something deeper is ready to shift.

And yet… you haven’t quite taken that next step.

Not because you don’t want to.

But because something in you is still pausing.

This is more common than you might think.

In my work, I often see people arrive at a point where they are mentally ready for change — but their nervous system is still catching up.

Healing isn’t just a decision of the mind.

It’s something your whole system needs to feel safe to move into.

Sometimes that pause can look like:

  • researching different modalities over and over
  • reading, learning, listening… but not booking
  • feeling drawn to somethig, then pulling back
  • telling yourself “I’ll do it soon”

If this is you, there is nothing wrong. This is not resistance. This is your system trying to move at a pace that feels safe.

Deep modalities like QHHT and holistic counselling don’t just work on the surface.

They open the door to:

  • subconscious patterns
  • stored emotional experiences
  • deeper levels of awareness and release

And a part of you knows that.

So it’s natural for there to be a moment of pause before stepping in.

What I want you to know is this:

You don’t need to force yourself into healing.

The right time is not when you push through fear… It’s when something in you gently says:

“I’m ready to feel different.”

When you do step into a session with me, it’s not about being overwhelmed or “diving too deep too quickly.”

It’s about:

  • feeling safe
  • being supported
  • allowing your system to open at the pace that’s right for you

You are never forced beyond what you’re ready for.

If you’ve been feeling that pull… but also that hesitation…

You’re not stuck.

You’re in the space just before change happens.

And that space deserves patience, not pressure.

When you’re ready, I’m here to support you.
